1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your first name, last name, email address, mobile phone number and the content of your message.
  • Updates sign-up: your email address, if you sign up to hear from us.
  • Email or phone: any information you choose to share when you write to us or call us.

When you submit a form, the Website also records the date and time, the page you sent it from, your IP address and your browser type, to help us manage messages and prevent spam.

Please do not send us sensitive health information, such as medical conditions, diagnoses or medications, through the Website. We do not need it, and we cannot give medical advice.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device information: pages viewed, links clicked (including clicks on order buttons), time spent on pages, referring website, approximate location (city or region), browser, device type and operating system.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored in your browser that help us measure how the Website is used. See section 5.
  • Technical data: your IP address and basic request information, which our hosting provider processes to deliver and secure the Website.

We do not collect payment card details. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions and messages.
  • To send you occasional updates if you signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time (see section 7).
  • To understand how visitors use the Website, which pages and products are most useful, and to improve our content.
  • To keep the Website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix technical problems.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

3. Purchases and links to other websites

We do not sell products or process orders or payments on this Website. When you click an Order via Consultant Account button, you leave My Perfect Body and go to the official HempWorx website. Any information you provide there, including payment and shipping details, is collected by that company and governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to read it.

As Independent Consultants, Andre and Tami Popa may receive a commission on purchases made through these links.

The Website also links to other websites, such as our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages and Google Maps. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. When you follow a link, the other website’s privacy policy applies, so please read it.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The Website relies on the companies below. When their content loads, your browser connects to their servers, so they receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details:

  • DreamHost: hosts the Website and stores form submissions and backups for us. Privacy policy: dreamhost.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Google LLC: Google Analytics (website statistics), Google Maps (the map on our Contact page) and Gmail (our email inbox, where form notifications arrive and our emails are handled). Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
  • Trustindex: displays our Google customer reviews on our Home and Reviews pages. Reviewer profile photos are loaded from Google’s servers. Privacy policy: trustindex.io/privacy-policy

Our forms are built with Elementor, a WordPress tool that runs on our own Website: form entries are stored in our WordPress database at DreamHost and sent to our Gmail inbox. We do not use an email marketing platform and do not currently send a regular newsletter. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy before we start.

These companies process information to provide their services to us, and they may also process it under their own privacy policies and the agreements that apply to their services. We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our visitors, ourselves or others.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Website is used. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage information, such as pages viewed and clicks on product links. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features. It does not give us your name, email address or phone number. Learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Third-party tracking. We do not use advertising pixels, such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, or advertising cookies. Except for Google Analytics as described in this section, we do not knowingly permit third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our Website, and we do not permit it for targeted advertising.

You can control cookies in several ways:

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work as intended.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (see below).

Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out, and Google Analytics is not loaded for that browser. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so the Website does not respond to Do Not Track signals. You can use Global Privacy Control or the options above instead.

6. How long we keep information

  • Contact form messages and emails: kept as long as needed to answer you and follow up, and no longer than 24 months after our last exchange. They are then deleted from the Website and from our email inbox, unless we must keep them longer for a legal reason.
  • Updates sign-ups: kept until you unsubscribe, then deleted or kept only as needed to respect your unsubscribe request.
  • Analytics data: Google Analytics keeps user-level and event-level data for 14 months, the retention setting we chose. Summary reports that do not identify you, such as total visits per month, may be kept longer.
  • Website backups: automatic backups expire on a rolling schedule. Database backups, which may contain form messages, are replaced after about 7 days. File backups, which contain the Website’s pages and images, are replaced after about 2 weeks.

When we delete information at your request, copies in backups disappear as those backups expire. If we ever restore the Website from a backup, we will delete that information again.

7. Your choices

  • Updates: unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email we send you, or by emailing us with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line. We process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
  • Cookies and analytics: see section 5.
  • Access, correction or deletion: contact us using the details in section 12.

8. Your California privacy rights

Depending on applicable legal thresholds, My Perfect Body may not be subject to all requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”). Nevertheless, we provide California residents with the privacy choices described below:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and request a copy of it.
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect it for that purpose.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Categories collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (name, email address, phone number, IP address); internet or network activity (pages viewed, clicks); approximate geolocation; and the content of messages you send us. Sources: you directly, and automatically from your device. Purposes: those described in section 2. Disclosed to: the service providers in section 4.

To make a request, contact us using the details in section 12. We will verify your request by confirming information you have already given us, such as your email address, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of their authorization.

Shine the Light: California residents may ask whether we disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not.

9. Visitors from other US states and outside the United States

Residents of other US states with privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct or delete their personal information. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

The Website is operated from the United States and designed mainly for visitors in the United States. Your information is processed in the United States and, through our service providers, possibly in other countries, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

10. How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, access controls, security updates and regular backups. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s privacy

The Website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Website.
